Our third official Darkness into Light event took place on May 9th 2026. I’m very grateful for this event, bringing 2000 members of our community together to stand together behind a powerful message: it’s ok not to be ok. It’s ok to ask for help.

The lack of prioritisation and investment in community sport has pushed our local sports clubs further and further beyond town boundaries. The first victims are our children. We need to do better. Our kids deserve clean, safe, decent facilities, not an afterthought squeezed into a planning permission.
