Greystones for Palestine’s next vigil in solidarity with the people of Palestine is on May 23rd. Greystones showed itself to be on the side of human rights and dignity, a partner to the people of Palestine during this dark chapter for our history. Read more about the vigil here.
We’ve also opened a donation to keep raising funds for Gaza Go Bragh. Our last bake sale raised 2265 euro and the first 70 000 L of water arrived in Gaza mid April. Help us keep up the support and bring water to children in need!

Our third official Darkness into Light event took place on May 9th 2026. I’m very grateful for this event, bringing 2000 members of our community together to stand together behind a powerful message: it’s ok not to be ok. It’s ok to ask for help.

What an honour it was to fulfill the role of Chair and MC at the Eire Óg Greystones dinner dance and awards night, held in the splendid surroundings of Greystones Golf Club!
Congratulations to all the winners on the night your achievements truly inspire. I’m lucky to have witnessed firsthand the remarkable growth and success of Eire Og, and seen how investing in Camogie and LGFA is a core part of making our clubs vibrant community spaces for everyone - when the opportunities for women are created, success is never far behind.

I am absolutely delighted to congratulate all of this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade winners and everyone who took part and made the day so special.
A massive thank you to the Greystones Town Team and in particular Yvonne McDonald O’Neill for all the hard work and passion that goes into organising this brilliant event every year. Thanks also to Greystones Municipal District for all of their coordination and support in bringing the parade together.
To our headline sponsor, CORE Credit Union Thank you! 💚
And finally, the biggest shoutout of all goes to our incredible local volunteers who gave up their time to steward on the day. Events like this simply don’t happen without you, Greystones is so lucky to have such a dedicated and community

We’ve launched the Wicklow Apartheid Free Zone! The launch, which was held at the Bridge Tavern, included speakers Senator Francis Black, John Brady TD, Palestinian Ambassador Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid, humanitarian doctor Mohammed Abu Mughessib and local BDS activist Bronagh ni Bhian.
We’re calling on local businesses and community groups to join us! This initiative is designed to not negatively impact businesses in any way, but allow them to facilitate your right to purchase ethically sourced goods, not manufactured/produced on stolen lands under oppression. Think of pharmacies, coffee shops, fruit and veg, barbers, hair salons, bars, restaurants, motor factors, garages. Use the power of your Euro.
