Christmas with Mo Chara
Monday night was truly special as I attended the Christmas dinner with Mo Chara Homeless Support in Dublin. It was heartwarming to work alongside the incredible volunteers who show up every week to provide vital resources for the those without a permanent home in our city, and to meet with wonderful, resilient and positive people.
A massive thank you to Colette Talbot and the entire team for their tireless dedication! Homelessness in Ireland is at a crisis level, and itβs heartbreaking to see men, women, and children forced to live on the streets. But volunteer organisations like Mo Chara are here to offer dignity, respect, and support to those in need.
I encourage everyone to consider volunteering your time can make a significant difference in the lives of our most vulnerable. It was an honor to be part of such an impactful evening, and I look forward to attending again soon!
A special shoutout to the Temple Carrig School Choir for their beautiful performance, which created a truly wonderful atmosphere, and to all the Greystones businesses and individuals who donated every week to make this possible π.
